TACC and France’s Quarkslab Exchange Insights on Cybersecurity Innovation and International Collaboration

On June 3, TACC held an exchange meeting with Quarkslab, a leading French cybersecurity company. During the meeting, both sides shared perspectives on emerging cybersecurity trends, vulnerability research, artificial intelligence (AI) applications, and models for collaboration among academia, industry, and research organizations.

Quarkslab is a renowned cybersecurity company specializing in vulnerability research, penetration testing, and security assessment. Its expertise spans a wide range of domains, including semiconductor chips, embedded systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive systems, and AI-related technologies. The company is also actively engaged in international cybersecurity research and technical communities.

During the discussion, Quarkslab introduced its research-driven innovation model and shared its experiences in collaborating with academic and industrial partners to advance cybersecurity technologies. TACC, in turn, presented its efforts in fostering cross-institutional research collaboration, international partnerships, and industry engagement, as well as the research capabilities and development directions of its nine research centers.

Both parties recognized the importance of international cooperation in advancing cybersecurity technologies and expressed interest in maintaining dialogue and knowledge exchange. Through continued engagement, they hope to explore potential opportunities for collaboration and contribute to the advancement of cybersecurity innovation and global research partnerships.
