France–Taiwan Workshop on Cybersecurity to Be Held in Paris in April 2026
The TACC delegation is scheduled to visit France in April 2026 to participate in the France–Taiwan Workshop on Cybersecurity, which will take place on April 23–24 at the ESIEA–Ivry campus in Paris. The workshop is jointly organized by TACC and Université de Lorraine, serving as a key platform for advancing bilateral collaboration in cybersecurity and digital technologies.
This workshop builds on the success of the France–Taiwan International Conference on Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Technologies, held at National Taiwan University on November 4–5, 2024. The previous event was jointly initiated by Prof. Wei-Chung Teng (TACC Principal Investigator), Prof. Tzong-Nan Lin (NTU Information Security Center), Prof. Jean-Yves Marion (Université de Lorraine), and Prof. Frédéric Pascal (Director of the DATAIA Institute), fostering in-depth exchanges between Taiwanese and French experts.
The TACC delegation will be led by Prof. Wei-Chung Teng and Prof. Hsu-Chun Hsiao, and will include scholars from Academia Sinica, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National Taiwan University, National Sun Yat-sen University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, National Chung Hsing University, and National Cheng Kung University. Participants will engage in discussions on key topics including Cryptography and Privacy Enhancing Technologies, Hardware Security, AI and Internet Governance and Disinformation, AI and Cybersecurity, and Malware.
This visit is expected to further strengthen France–Taiwan academic collaboration in cybersecurity and emerging technologies, deepen research partnerships, and open new avenues for future cooperation.
