TACC to Attend the 2nd France–Taiwan Science and Technology Conference in April 2026

TACC will visit France in April 2026 to participate in the France–Taiwan Science and Technology Conference (STC), to be held in Grenoble, further strengthening bilateral cooperation in science and technology. This conference is a flagship bilateral event established under the France–Taiwan Convention on Cooperation in Science and Technology, signed in 2023. Building on the success of the first Science and Technology Conference held in Taipei in April 2024, the event aims to deepen exchanges between research institutions and industries from both sides.

The conference will take place on April 20–21 at Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA), and is jointly coordinated by UGA, the French Office in Taipei (BFT), and the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), with support from Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) and France’s Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR). Discussions will focus on six strategic areas: Semiconductors and Quantum ; Digital, Cybersecurity and AI ; Green Industry and Energy, Decarbonisation ; Health ; Ocean ; Space.

During the visit, TACC will participate in plenary and parallel sessions, as well as engage in site visits to local research and innovation ecosystems to explore potential collaboration opportunities. This mission is expected to further reinforce France–Taiwan partnerships in key technological fields and lay a solid foundation for future bilateral cooperation.
