Communication networks have become an integral part of our lives. The next generation of networks is expected to provide higher speeds, greater bandwidth, and support for a variety of new applications. However, with the increasing reliance on these networks, the need for improved security has become paramount. In this project, we will study the security of the next generation network. The project consists of five subprojects that are interlinked and work together to achieve the overarching goal. The five subprojects can be integrated to create a comprehensive approach to securing and optimizing next-generation mobile networks. The last two subprojects (4, 5) can serve as the two pillars of the overall project, while the other subprojects provide additional support and focus on specific areas of concern as indicated in the above diagram. The first three subprojects heavily rely on AI technologies, while the last two focus on system and theoretical issues to ensure the security of NGMN. The ultimate goal of this project is to develop new technologies and publish the results in top-tier journals and conferences. Each subproject will aim to submit papers to the top forums every year.
